| What a weekend |

Wow what a weekend I had. Got shitfaced with everyone at Link's on thursday night - greeat to see chuckles there having a blast - drank way into the lat evening then off to Karova for more and more drinks. Caught the arse end of a band but they were pretty average - found myself lecturing the drummer on the virtues of practise - he seemed to listen to me and genuuinely appreciated my critisisms - though I stressed I was nothing spectacular myself.
The shit al,ost hit the fan later with some thugs who tried to start shit - but with Riseley, Bridey, Draffin and myself they ended up cooling themselves off, though in a smart arse way. Got paraletic and somehow stegs and myself walked ourway back to steves. Chatted till the sun was almost up then decided to go home. Good times.
Worked friday.
Saturday was one of the best days of memory for a long time. The AFL grand final, arrived at big micks about 1pm, then drank and drank. Drank 10 bourbans, some cruisers, some beers and then went out. Tried to drink more and more, rob bought me some beers, ended up at Karova dancing like an idiot. Had fun though. Was pretty close to spewing for a while and the one hour waiting for a taxi was no help. Got home and forced down shitloads of water and it paid dividends this morning asa I felt good. Word to big mick for an awesome day.
Spent sunday spring cleaning my joint. Fucked if i know why. On reflection I think it was just to fell good about my place of residence.
Learnt a few things this weekend - a lot of people dont do what they say they will, never meet you when they say they will and dont care either. This goes for you most of all herbo.
All in all a tops weekend which is a great pavement to bathurst in just under 2 weeks. Last weekend was also pretty good being my birthday and turning 20!

Ages since my last post, so I'll update you all as to how exciting my life has been...
Started off by not getting much sleep, followed by going to work, followed by driving to melbourne to visit people. Got home. Was going to go to sleep but the cat farted. Still no sleep...
Ahhhh what a great journal entry. I would go on, but quite frankly, can't be fucked, and don't want to bore the shit out of everyone.
Ahhh time for another seven olympic update. More gold for the aussies. Top stuff.

I hate banks. I hate Westpac for obvious reasons. But I especially hate the Commonwealth Bank. They drew out a loan repayment even though I specifically asked them not to this week. Then because they drew it out my account went into debit. So they took the liberty of charging me $30 in overdrawing charges. Because I assumed that I had money because I assumed thay had not taken the loan payment out, I paid my phone bill and bought some groceries before work. I therefore put my account further into debit and fucken got charged $30 overdrawing again. Thats $60
Fuck banks. Fuck Commonwealth in particular. I am not fucking happy. In fact in the words of Herbo I am stabby. I am ready to kill.

These bloody overnights keep tricking my mind into thinking that it is almost the weekend. But I still have 2 shifts until the weekend. Bloody hell. I just want to get drunk, and do nothing.
Saw a man kissing a man last night when out driving. Fuck.
Work is giving me the shits. New client with annoying foreign languages really shit me. Had a stuttering indian on the line before. C-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-c-can you prease hep wit m-m-m-m-m-my netwok p-p-p-p-p-passwrod. No, Fuck off.
Going to see Epicure tomorrow I mean Friday night. Word. They are a tops band, word to stegs for working a bit of shift friday to let me go. Hope you enjoy the lucksmiths on thursday stegs.
Im getting all the sims expansion packs tonight and am surprisingly looking forward to it. Dunno why, its a fucken crap game. Bloody addictive though.

I'm here finally. The last overnight. Good to see ya again Mick. Tonight I enjoy the company of gambo again (no more shithouse music please) and dave for my first overnight with him.
Thanks to Stegs for his inspiration, have bought a bowl of coco pops so looking forward to that a bit later.
Got my radio show Tuesday night at 6pm on 99.9 voice fm. Then I am going to get ridiculously pissed. Really shit faced. And after reading herbo's journals, I would really like to try and drink him under the table one day, or at least see who is the energizer. How about it? You a man or a nazi, herbs?
Will try and finish the first season of red vs blue tonight so it would be appreciated if no one calls up tonight for about 2 hours.
Have noticed that I can't go a day without looking on ebay for stuff. I have about 5 or 6 regular searches then spend ages browsing. Must get off ebay.
And with that, and 8 hours 15 minutes of my shift to go, I will say goodbye for now. |

Ok...
Quite liking the idea of this LJ. Never was good at keeping diaries when I was younger for school or otherwise. Word to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) st3vil for his help in showing me the finer features of this tool.
Got home from work this morning at 8am and went straight to bed. After about 30 minutes of trying to sleep decided it was a fruitless excercise and so got up again. Played 3 mind numbing hours of Fifa 2004 on the XBOX then, into my 4th full season. One of those games where easy is too easy, medium is easy and hard is too fucken hard. Also it's impossible to make any money even if you win every bloody competition. My current team consists of players with skill of 90+ so it really is a bit too easy. Might sell Ronaldo, Zidane, Davids, Trezeguat, Kahn, Beckham.... make it a bit more interesting.
Anyway any not sport fans will be bored shitless so onto my next task for the day. I was trying to get tired quick but XBOX was just keeping me awake. So I washed my car again, 2nd day in a row. Looking good. Polished it Sunday. Then it rained.
Next up was an hour of Sega Mega drive games on the PC via emulator. Theme Hospital and Toejam and Earl provided great entertainment, before I literally couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. I decided agaionst trying to stay up to watch the V8's on TV and went to bed, finally. Up again at 8 for another Big Brother eviction thanks to g/f Elley and now here I am at work, only 9 hours to go... hopefully stegs can keep me entertained... |

| The beginning, the first OSC saturday rotation |

Well here I am, I have succumbed to the OSC peer pressure and began my LJ as they are known. I think it's safe to say its the best way to get to know each other in this day and age when we all work different hours, so here I go with my first post.
I'm into my second hour of my first saturday night overnight shift ever. In fact its probably my first saturday shift ever. Thanks to our beloved team leader for letting me know about this rotating shift 2 days ago, the notice was great.
I am trying to get over reading Herbo's story about the man with no nuts. It has made me feel quite queasy reading it and I wish I hadn't.
I got drunk last night with my two best mates and had a great time but am paying for it right now, and I still have 10 hours to go. To get over my semi hangover I washed and polished my car today which I find is the best hangover cure. Car looks good though which is good.
These new clients we have are really shitting me. The lack of documentation and the many foreign languages are beginning to get on my nerves. I dont remember agreeing to this! Pay rise time... yeah right.
Im going to put on some mp3's now and try to get over the fact that I have so long to go of this shift. I do hope someone will reply to this at some stage otherwise I'm stuck posting on my Ford web page which I really aren't in the mood for. I'm going to have a good chat with my overnight pal later and talk whips and chains. Hahaha. |
